Thinking about pursuing an MA Sociology (MSO)? This two-year program requires you to earn 64 credits for your degree and certification, with each credit accounting for 30 hours of dedicated study. Admissions for our online program are offered twice annually, in January and July, making it convenient to start your journey.
You’ll complete 4 courses in your first year and 4 in your second year. The credit of each course is 8. Students have to complete total of 8×4 = 32 credits to pass out first year and 32 credits to pass out second year. Once you’ve successfully enrolled, we’ll send the complete MA Sociology (MSO) syllabus for both years directly to the address you provided during admission. The M.A. Programme in sociology is designed to provide advanced sociological knowledge, perspectives and skills to a wide cross section of learners, including those in remote and inaccessible areas.
