The open learning distance university offers online admission to various education learning bachelor’s degree programme. Out of which, one name is BPP – Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme during the both admission cycle i.e January and July. It comes under School of Social Sciences. It is shortly termed as SOSS. This discipline is Non-Formal Channel to B.A./ B.Com/ BSW / BTS. It is great options for those students who wants to do Bachelor’s Degree but do not have the essential qualifications of having passed 10+2 and attained the age of 18 years/as on 1st April and 1st October for January & July session respectively. In the absence of such a qualifying certificate these students are deprived of higher education.
For those students, the top distance university has designed this preparatory programme. BPP is, however, not equivalent to 10+2 and has no credit weightage. It is valid for admission to IGNOU’s non-formal stream of BA/ B.Com etc. The minimum duration is of 6 months. However, the maximum duration is to complete bachelor degree (BPP) is of 2 years. IGNOU BPP Prospectus 2017-18 is available in both medium i.e English and Hindi. Students can fill application form and their fees online for BPP discipline by going through university online portal ignou.ac.in. - Age Bar: No Age limit
- Fee Details : All candidate taking admission to this course need to pay Rs. 1,000/- for full programme
- Eligibility Details : To be eligible for BPP admission, should have No Formal Qualification, Minimum age – 18 years
IGNOU BPP Hall Ticket : The Hall tickets for Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) will be uploaded on official website for appearing in the term end exams 10 days before the date of term end examination. In case any candidate do not receive their hall ticket / admit card of BPP discipline by post, he or she can download it from the website to appear in the upcoming term-end examination.
IGNOU BPP Result : After conducting BPP exam, the university takes almost 45 days to declare the BPP result for the current year. So, we asked all students to keep visiting the university website to check the BPP (Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme) Result for current year.
IGNOU BPP Solved Assignments : All students need to submit the IGNOU BPP Solved Assignments for each theory course. The assignment latest question papers of BPP for 2017-18 can be downloaded from the official website. The solved assignments of Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) consists 30% of total marks for any particular course.
IGNOU BPP Study Material : After taking admission in IGNOU, students will receive Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) study material at their mentioned address via Registered post/ Speed Post/ Courier etc by the university. If any case, students didn’t receive their BPP Study material, he can contact to their nearest regional or study centre. The study material for BPP discipline is available in PDF form at no cost.
