The top distance university conducted term-end exams twice in a year i.e in the month of June and December for respective year. After exam finished, the university declared term end results in the form of grade card. The university offered result grade card in two form i.e either in the form of soft copy or hard copy to all enrolled candidates to check their Term end examination result for June and December examination cycle. Ignou Grade card consists of their marks for Term End Theory exams, Term End Practicals, Project Work, Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA) etc.
The IGNOU Grade Card is a kind of marks card which consists of information such as Term End Theory Marks, Assignment Marks, Practical Marks, Course Completion Status.
The column of Term-End Practicals and Project Work is updated only in grade card for few disciplines for which these are mandatory. Ignou Grade card display status either Completed or Not-Completed. Any discipline is said to be completed only when the status in front of all the required courses is mentioned as ‘Completed’ in the grade card where as it is said to be Non-Completed when you are failed either in assignments, term-end examinations or practical exams. For few courses, the result grade card is updated in terms of numeric marks whereas for few courses, the marks are awarded as grades such as A,B,C,D & E. “E” grade will be considered as failed while other than “E” will be considered as pass in that particular course. Ignou BDP Grade Card includes BA, B.Com and B.Sc programme through which you will get bachelor degree. Students who have checked their term end result and will be able to find their grade card status at the same page of grade card report. If students get minimum passing marks in assignment and theory then can successfully complete their programme from IGNOU and he or she become eligible for award of bachelor / master degree certificate from university.
How to Check the Ignou Grade Card December 2023?
Step 1: First of all, visit the university official grade card page http://ignou.ac.in/ignou/studentzone/results/4
Step 2 : There are 3 links available i.e 1) For BCA/MCA/MP/MPB, 2) For BDP/BA/B.COM/B.Sc./ASSO Programmes 3) For Other Programmes
Step 3: First of all, select the correct Program from any above three links and enter your Enrollment Number in the next box and click on submit.
Step 3: The Enrollment number will be mentioned on the Student’s Enrollment Form.
Step 4: Download and may print your Ignou Grade Card for further use.
Important Note : In case any student is found to be booked under unfairmeans, the result of the particular student will be Cancelled.
Duplicate Ignou Grade Card December 2023 : As per policy, the distance university sends the result grade card to students in the form of hard-copy via post. If any candidates get lost or misplaced or damaged it, students can apply for the duplicate Grade Card by paying a small fee of Rs 150/- in the form of DD (Demand Draft) which is to be made in favour of Ignou payable at “New Delhi”. The Duplicate grade card application form is available online. Eligible students can easily download and fill by going through university official website www.ignou.ac.in.
